Earth Science Class: each week students will have an "Earth Week" quiz every Tuesday during the quarter. Each student needs a 3-ring binders which must be neat and organized.
Global Studies: Is starting a new unit "The Middle East". Part I includes geopolitical and physical maps of the Middle East. Part II includes reviewing the three major religions of the Middle East. There will be a quiz on 11/18 on the three religions and unit test 11/19-11/20.
PE: Students are working on flexibility, muscle strength and endurance, and cardiovascular development for their next fitness tests which will take place in November. The next four units include: Flag Football, Field Hockey, Ultimate, and Badminton

Health: Finishing term project presentations and nutrition unit. Baby Think It Over project will start the first week of November.
ICC: Is a team taught class. Students physically change teachers each week. The Careers half of the class is taught by Ms. LaRoche and the Computers half of the class is taught by Ms. Spencer. Currently students are learning specific computer formatting procedures necessary to meet project, papers and presentation expectations at WHMRHS. Within the careers half students have completed several self assessments to identify what their individual passions, values, skills, aptitudes, abilities, roles, occupations and vocations are.
Students will be starting a career exploration unit that focus's on their individual strengths in order to identify a career cluster for initial exploration. All work in the ICC class is competency based, which means there are no tests, students are expected to use skills learned.
The final project in this class will be the creation of a competency bases personal portfolio. All students should be using their agenda for daily work and ssignments and students are required to maintain a 3-ring binder of their work and resources for this class.
Math: Algebra I: expressions, evaluating, numbers and operations, probability. We will have weekly quizzes and chapter test. All students are allowed to take over any tests or quizzes before the quarter ends.
